The food’s really tasty (I’m from Indonesia, and the flavors totally match my Asian taste); the staff are super friendly; and the food comes out fast. It's a clean place with adorable room decor
This is sounds so silly, but when I saw a portion of toast as an option for takeaway, I ordered it. Staff were so kind and helpful, and the ratio of butter to strawberry jam was perfect. It was so good, I went back the next morning for my final breakfast in Edinburgh for another americano and takeaway toast
This family-run cafe made us so comfortable and happy that we were back 2 days in a row for breakfast. Our favourites are the Scottish breakfast, and the baked potato with tuna & sweet corn! Service was quick & attentive. All the best!
Cute little breakfast place which was really popular. We got morning rolls to go and the staff was super friendly. The food was good too! Saw many people getting the Scottish breakfast plate and it looked good too.
Fabulous family run cafe. My mrs. and I were looking for non crowded, non americanised cosy cafes in the area and stumbled upon this little beauty. Apart from the fact that the owner offered to serve me on toast to my wife because they didn't have avocado :D the proceedings were much less scary for me once this conversation was out of the way. Lovely geezer him the fella made us feel at home :) The scran was scrumptious and served with love and lovely bit of british banter on the side! In case you read this mate thank you for a lovely morning. And yes I was extra careful not to upset the mrs. on International Womens Day. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Edinburgh.
During my 5-day stay in Edinburgh - I visited there 3 times! Just love the food, coffee and the vibe. And of course the lovely owner as well.
Excellent food, friendly staff, cosy ambience. I ordered Scottish breakfast, freshly cooked and delicious. That little Scottish flag adds a special flavour to the food. Will come again :). Excellent experience!
